Yes. Console gives you remote access, relay infrastructure, and team controls, but Claude Code itself must already be installed and authenticated on each connected machine.
No. Console connects through a WebSocket relay — your machine only makes outbound connections. No ports to open, no SSH keys to manage.
Wall-clock time from when Claude Code starts to when the session ends. Idle time after 5 minutes of no activity is not counted.
